Official Statistics

The figures that Ministers receive affect the decisions of governments. The figures that are released to the public should accurately reflect the state of the nation. In a time of national belt-tightening public services come under pressure. It is all the more important that the statistics on which official decisions are based are available to all and presented in ways that we can all understand.
